LA State BJJ Championships – Congratulations GB Arkansas!!!
May 18, 2009This past Friday, wee traveled to Hammond LA to compete in the Louisiana State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships on Saturday 16 May, hosted by the LBJJF.
Here’s how we placed.
Brian Davis – Silver – Black Belt Absolute div.
Cassie Chism – Gold –Women’s Blue Belt Feather Weight div
Silver – Women’s Blue Belt Absolute div
Bronze – Women’s Blue Belt Absolute No-Gi Div
Brian Davis Jr – Silver – 13-15 Youth Super Super Heavy Weight Div
Brenden Davis – Silver – 13-15 Youth Medium Heavy Weight Div
Wes Sharp – Silver – White Belt Light Weight No-Gi div
Bronze – White Belt Light Weight div
Tony Stephens – Bronze – White Belt Absolute div
Bronze – White Belt Absolute No-Gi div
Shane Stone – Bronze White Belt Masters Absolute No-Gi div
Clayton Lawrence – Bronze – White Belt – Super Super Heavy Weight div
Christopher Nanney – Bronze 7-9 year kids Super Feather Weight div
This was the first competition for many students and a big one to begin at. We should all be proud!!!
